So this little gem has been going around the internet and I had the pleasure of checking it out today, and really, what can one say? With youtube these days its hard to tell how much of this is sincere and how much is staged but regardless, this is what I appreciate about this young man and the FACT (yes, it is a fact!) that the club can’t handle him:
a) He states it as a fact. Not a suggestion or a question. Regardless that the singer may or may not have had him in mind when making the song, he’s decided to own it. This is his version of “I don’t think you’re ready for this jelly” and although he doesn’t have a bootylicious behind to underline that fact, we’re still thoroughly entertained!
b) The power of art. It touches people in different ways and speaks to them where they need to be spoken to. Just sit back and enjoy the ride!
c) The huge sigh of relief at the end of the song. He got his fix, now he can move on with life.
Bravo youtube boy! Do your thang, lotion, baseball cap, mimes and all!
